Lighthouse In VT

On a trip to Burlington I stumbled upon this small lighthouse called the North Light. I loved the line in the middle of the water, the foggy landscape only allowing a bit of mountains to show, and especially how she was standing perfectly in the center. Vermont is a beautiful state.

Comet Outburst

It may not look like much, but it is. I was at a local observatory photographing the moon through a telescope when I noticed something bright in the sky. As it turns out, comet Holmes had suddenly outburst becoming much brighter than usual. This was the largest known outburst by a comet.

Is photography nothing more than simply putting a frame around something that already exists? Perhaps it is… I cut matboard and attached it to the outside of a frame. I then walked around the city placing the frame onto things I felt looked nice and then took a quick snapshot of the moment.

A narrative told in the medium of playdough: What if there were creatures that had only two limbs and gigantic tongues? What if every time they opened their mouth someone else would need to come help them roll it back up? That’s life.

Shadow Landscapes

In a moment of complete chance I came to find how interesting the shadow of a mesh material can be. I then created a series of imagery using a crinkled window screen and a flashlight. I photographed the result projected on the wall and called it landscape photography.
