Sandy Skoglund, “Revenge of the Goldfish”, 1981
Skoglund is a photographer interested in the juxtaposing elements of sculpture within an environment. Much of her work emphasizes both color and repetition. She began with objects but soon became interested in documenting scenes she would create – many times using models within the space… I enjoy her work for its surreal qualities of mixing sculptural elements with the real world as well as her blunt use of color. Check out all of her later works as well. See more at http://www.sandyskoglund.com/
