Laser Cymatics

I filled a container with water, aimed a laser at the surface so that it refracted onto the wall. I then played a very low frequency through a vibration speaker that created patterns on the surface of the water: Cymatics.

What you see here is the reflection of moving light patterns on the wall, a combination of 3 different frequencies blended together. This is a new installation I am working towards.
