The beach was slightly uninspiring today. Cold, cloudy, colorless… but then I found this awesome sphere shaped rock. I kicked it around a bit, then took it’s picture… Textural minimalism.
I usually only share creative ideas and imagery on this blog, but this moment was just too cute not to share. My dog Piper rarely comes to the beach even though I am there nearly every day. She doesn’t like water or getting wet. When we walk there, she pulls and always wants to get farther and farther from the waves. She still seems to appreciate it though.
The lighthouse off the coast of Folly Beach is no longer operational. Last night, as a special occasion, it was lit up for a few hours. I took a bunch of photographs then blended them together to create this image. The fireworks being set off all around the peninsula of Charleston really added to the moment.
The happiest of New Years from me to you!
Perhaps 2020 will be full of love and light!
