This might be more personal that art related, but I was banned from Facebook, so I am posting it here, lol… I was just sentenced to 30 days in “Facebook Jail” because of a typo. Yes, a typo. I was writing a kind comment and meant to say HOW but my finger slipped and hit the wrong key: HOE… Just like that I was immediately restricted for a month. Worst part is that I argued the situation and won, Facebook apologized and allowed my comment back online – but never took away my 30 days.
I understand we need policing in social media, but if Artificial Intelligence is not quite there yet, maybe we should hire and pay some human beings to actually be the brain behind the decisions… Oh yea, and I found a bunch of shark’s teeth on the beach tonight!
