(reflecting light off water)
Theta Waves is a series of audio-visual installations, sometimes even with an element of performance. A large mirror is submerged in a container of water. A color changing light is aimed down at the container, refracting and reflecting light and shadow onto various surfaces. Ripples and waves are made in the water by myself, the audience, or a fan, and the textures are then cast onto the ceiling, walls, three-dimensional objects, or digital prints… Below are a few video documentations of Theta Waves pieces.
