Vintage

I have been collecting vintage cameras for many years now. I like the sense of history that comes with them. While working in an old film lab I began to clean them, respooling film, and carrying a few wherever I went. Various types of film (120, 620, disc, 16mm, 110 and so on) were used, some which were long expired or out of production.

I began developing and scanning the negatives with no end goal in mind. I noticed that the images felt mundane or ordinary, timeless or locationless. Perhaps it was this sense of age that forced my hand. My images have been edited and compiled into a book as well as a series of larger photographic prints.
